If not for my eldest sister who's crazy about everything Japanese, including J-pop, perhaps I wouldn't have known this song (maybe eventually). I'm not fond of J-pop but how can not love this very touching song? It was love at first 'listen'.
I remember few years ago, me and a couple of friends (one of them Japanese) decided to go on an island tour. To accomodate that Japanese friend, we made a point to bring Utada's first album along the ride. Everyone had a good time singing to this tune, the amount of emotion displayed was unbelievable..lol! There after, this song became our must-sing during karaoke session.

yeah, video produced there was yucky! hahaha, but that series (where the shots were taken) i find interesting, Kris...just don't have the patience to watch it on the tele every night, hahaha.
hmm..jessa saragosa, huh?! sounded ok, but am not really her fan. but i liked her hubby's songs, before. LoL...
i think i prefer the original singer, though most of the time i couldn't understand what she was saying! hehe, thanks for adding those lyrics, Kris!
